 Female Court Services Case Manager – Courthouse/UA

Job Definition: Under general supervision, performs data entry functions and a variety of clerical duties by performing the following duties.
Job Grade: 50
Description: Interviews clients, collects client data, addresses the data and determines the client’s eligibility for the program. Compiles data for client’s files. Operates alphabetical and/or numerical or combination data entry device; inputs information and interview forms into database; updates and maintains data; and closes out files. Accesses "menus" in order to retrieve data from the Sheriff's and District Attorney's files. Assists in the maintenance of paper files and records. May complete and record follow up calls to clients and refer calls as necessary. May prepare and forward warrant letter forms to clients. Answers phones; relays calls; takes messages or gives information as necessary. Collects urine samples and conducts urine analysis using a Viva Twin drug testing system. Assists with the maintenance of the Viva Twin drug testing system. Assists with the startup and closing procedures for the Viva Twin drug testing system. Conducts sobriety analysis testing using a portable Life Loc Professional Breath Alcohol Tester, providing results to courts as needed. Locate and establish communications with absconders from Pretrial Release program, to establish the return within the Tulsa County/Tulsa City Court Systems; Locate Drug Court clients that have gone absent without leave (AWOL) and relay information to the Drug Court personnel to establish the surrender of clients to Drug Court; Locate Community Sentencing Absconders. Compile accurate information concerning a client's rule violations and provide that information to a supervisor. Ensure that a warrant is issued or additional charges filed, if applicable. Monitor the progress of the client's case and provide information to the Courts as requested. May testify in court as needed. Women in Recovery (WIR) client case management, which entails office visits, verifying changing information and reporting progress to the courts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills: Skill in the operation of a personal computer, calculator and other office machines; in maintaining accurate records and files; in performing a variety of general clerical duties. Knowledge of NCIC operations; of operations procedures; of records and filing systems; of modern office practices. Ability to organize and comprehend detailed data; to precisely perform detailed work; to type 40 words per minute accurately; to exercise tact, patience and courtesy in dealing with others; to maintain confidentiality; to understand and follow established departmental policies and procedures.
Education / Experience: Education equivalent to graduation from a standard four year high school and two years of satisfactory full time paid employment in a court services related program.
Licenses/Certificates: Medtox UA Certification; Portable Breath Test (PBT) Certification; Lexis Nexis Certification; Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
Salary Range: $2,454.00 per month
Work Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday; on call as needed.
