The Court Clerk also serves as a Passport Acceptance Office, as a service to the public.
Passports can be obtained between the hours of 8:30 - 11:30 and 12:30 - 4:30.
To obtain a passport, the following information may be helpful:
The passport office is located on the 2nd floor, and North end of the Courthouse.
- Please bring a passport photo with you, along with 2 checks or 2 money orders.
- All customers applying for a passport must submit a clear copy of their citizenship evidence in addition to their original or certified copy of U.S. citizenship. If there is writing on both sides of the citizenship evidence, then copies must be made of the front and back of the document.
Examples of U.S. citizenship evidence - certified birth certificate, naturalization certificate, consular report of birth abroad, and certificate of citizenship. Customers may also submit an expired U.S. passport as evidence of citizenship.
