Established in 1914 with the Smith-Lever Act, the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service is a federal, state and county partnership providing the proven, practical, and priceless education of the Land-grant System to the citizens of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and United States.

Tulsa County and OSU support the Cooperative Extension Service with nine (9) professional extension educators and four (4) office assistants. The federal and state funded Community Nutrition Education Program provides nutrition education to limited income families.

Over 500 volunteers including 4-H youth and adult volunteers, Master Gardeners, and Oklahoma Home and Community Education members work with the Tulsa County Extension staff to reach you where you are with the information you need. The award winning Tulsa County OSU Cooperative Extension Service reaches a diverse audience around the world with programs focusing on agriculture and natural resources which includes the Master Gardeners, family & consumer sciences, 4-H youth development and community development.
