The $780 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will provide Tulsa County with potential funding opportunities. This is an all encompassing bill with funds available for transportation, infrastructure projects, public safety, human services (homelessness prevention, workforce training, Community Development Block Grants), education and energy development.

We must apply for the money, and it is a complicated and competitive process. We will invest whatever stimulus money we get in key priorities and projects.
